Oil prices rose on Friday, with Brent crude futures rose by 0.4% to $ 54.73 a barrel as US production fell, according to a report published by Mubasher.
The price of NYMEX crude futures rose by 0.1% to $ 49.14 a barrel.
Data from the Energy Information Administration showed that US production fell by 8% to 8.8 million barrels per day last week, compared with 9.5 million barrels per day in the previous week.
