Oil prices rose Thursday, as Brent crude for November delivery rose by 1% to $ 55.71 a barrel, with expectations of global demand rising, according to a report published by Mubasher.
Nymex crude futures rose by 1.4% to $ 50.01 a barrel.
The International Energy Agency forecast in its monthly report, that world demand in 2017 would rise by 1.6 million barrels.
