Oil prices rose Friday, and Brent crude futures rose by 0.2% to $ 57.11 a barrel, according to a report published by Mubasher.
Nymex crude futures fell by 0.3% to $ 50.66 a barrel.
Oil prices rose after Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih remarks Thursday, about Russia’s role in reviving OPEC.
The number of oil drilling platforms in US is due to be announced today, according to Mubasher.
