Oil prices rose on Friday, and Brent crude futures rose by 0.6% to $ 64.73 a barrel as the dollar fell, according to a report published by Mubasher.
Nymex crude futures rose $ 0.7 million to $ 61.74 a barrel.
The US currency fell to its lowest level in 3 years, boosting the price of oil.
The oil drilling platforms data is scheduled to be released later on the day, following a significant rise in the week ending Feb. 2 by 26 platforms. According to Mubasher.
