The UAE has adopted a new tool to assess the impact of proposed strategic plans and initiatives submitted by ministries and government agencies to the Council of Ministers, focusing on assessing the impact of these plans and initiatives on the happiness of society.
“The adoption of a tool to assess the impact of strategic plans and initiatives on the welfare of the community underlines the recognition of the leadership of the State in developing scientific and practical tools that enhance the direction of the government of the UAE,” said Ohoud Bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for the happiness.
She added that the evaluation tool includes six main themes, in addition to determining the happiness with regard to the scope of the plan or the initiative and its duration
