Oil prices rose Wednesday, with Brent crude rising 0.5% to $ 49.10 a barrel.
The price of NYMEX crude futures rose by about 0.3% to $ 46.56 a barrel.
A Saudi source told Reuters that his country was committed to working with all crude producers to counter changes in world supply, adding that the kingdom was still aiming to restore stability to oil markets by reducing the global inventory glut.
