Egypt’s ministry of housing, utilities and Urban Communities is seeking to establish residential and tourist projects within the next three years., said Hani Younis, media adviser of the Minister .
The ministry is establishing the new city of Mansoura In the Delta of Egypt on an area of 5 thousand acres on the Mediterranean coast. The project includes the establishment of a university , a medical city ,tourism and leisure facilities.
“The ministry plans to create the new city of Alamein, as an integrated tourist and residential city on the area of 50 thousand acres directly on the Mediterranean coast, and the city includes industrial lake and hotel towers,” Yunis says.
He pointed out that the ministry is implementing several projects in the new administrative capital with an investment cost of about EGP 4 billion, the most important of which is the first residential project.The units are scheduled to be reserved at the end of 2018 in addition to the establishment of the government district on an area of 1130 acres, with the completion of the works mid-2019, referring that the ministry is preparing to implement the financial and business district, which includes the highest building in Africa, 185 meters high to serve investors.
