The Cairo Criminal Court yesterday sentenced 28 suspects to death for the assassination of Egyptian Attorney General Hisham Barakat and And imprisonment for 38 others.
Egyptian Attorney General Hisham Barakat was killed after his motorcade was targeted by a car bomb in June 2015.
The Cairo Criminal Court referred the papers of 30 defendants last month to the Mufti .
