Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance said in a statement that the total number of applications for the first domestic issuance of government sukuk in Saudi riyals exceeded SAR 51 billion, a coverage of about 300 percent.
The volume of the issue was set at SAR 17 billion and was divided into three segments. The first one is SAR 12 billion in sukuk due in 2022.
