Oil prices rose on Friday, coinciding with a decline in inventories, and the price of Brent crude futures rose by 0.3% to 51.198 dollars per barrel.
Nymex crude futures rose by 0.4%. to $ 47.26 a barrel.
Data showed a decline in US oil inventories by 8.9 million barrels during the week ending August 11, to 466.5 million barrels.
