Oil prices fell on Wednesday, with Brent crude futures fell by 0.2% to $ 53.30 a barrel as refineries were affected by hurricane activity, according to Mubasher.
Nymex crude futures rose by 0.08% to $ 48.70 a barrel.
The US National Hurricane Center announced Hurricane Irma was upgraded to Category 5, threatening the Caribbean islands and the US state of Florida.
