The Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility CSR Network honors Gloria Hotel by giving the Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility CSR Award, among honoring of 20 companies and institutions that won it, in a ceremony held in Dubai in presence of a great number of businessmen, government officials, dignitaries, pioneer CSR experts in the Arab World as well as international experts.
Freddy Farid, Regional General Manager of Gloria Hotel said, “We are delighted of what we achieved in a short period of time which made Gloria Hotel as a community service title for more than 7 years since the establishment of Gloria Hotel and we embraced the states policy and vision to effectively participate in serving the community which we are part of and work to transform Gloria Hotel into one of the largest environmental hotels in the region.
As we devoted our efforts of waste collection, recycling, voluntary work, publishing and even instilling it inside the employees. From this platform, we also thank all Gloria personnel for this level of awareness and dedication in keeping the company’s approach in this context.”
The awards are inspired by the Global Sustainability Movement and are in line with principles of the UN Global Compact, principles of the Global Reporting Initiative and principles of the EFQM Excellence Model. As part of the network’s partnership with UNEP, the awards are committed to promoting sustainable consumption and production.
