Oil prices rose on Thursday, and Brent crude futures up by 0.5% to $ 63.41 a barrel as US oil inventories fell, according to a report published by Mubasher.
Nymex crude futures rose 0.3% to $ 57.46 a barrel.
The US Energy Information Administration announced yesterday that oil inventories dropped by 3.4 million barrels during the week ending Nov. 24, more than expected.
OPEC is scheduled to hold a meeting later in the day to discuss the decision to cut output, according to Mubasher.
