Gold prices rose on Tuesday, and metal futures rose by 0.3% to $ 1282.3 an ounce, as the dollar fell, according to a report published by Mubasher.
The spot delivery price of precious metals increased at $ 1277.9 per ounce, up by 0.3%.
US stocks fell on the last Friday’s trading, but gained weekly gains.
US consumer confidence fell to 95.9 points in December from 98.5 in November, as the data from the University of Michigan showed.
