Oil prices fell on Friday, and Brent crude futures dropped by 0.2% to $ 61.26 a barrel, according to a report published by Mubasher.
Nymex crude futures rose by 0.3% to $ 55.33 a barrel.
US Energy Information Administration data released this week showed that production rose to the highest level since 1983 to 9.64 million barrels during the week ending Nov. 10.
OPEC has reduced crude oil supply growth forecast from outside the organization to 0.87 million bpd next year, according to Mubasher .
