Gold prices fell on Friday and the metal futures contract for December delivery fell by 0.2% to $ 1181.40 an ounce, according to a report published by Mubasher.
Gold was affected by the sharp fall of the Turkish lira and the dollar’s rise.
The spot price of precious metals rose at $ 1177.58 an ounce, up by 0.3%.
