Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received today Sun Chunlan, head of the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee. Mrs Chunlan conveyed the greeting of Li Keqiang, the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. according to press release published by Dubai Government Media Office.
The meeting was attended by Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Chunlan’s visit to the UAE. HH stressed the UAE’s keenness on developing ties with China.
Sheikh Mohammed and Chunlan reviewed bilateral relations between the UAE and China and ways to enhance them in joint fields between the two countries.
Chunlan wished that relations between would witness more development and progress in various domains. She also emphasised her country’s desire to boost cooperation in various domains. She also praised the UAE’s pioneering stature at the regional and global arenas.
Present at the meeting were Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Future Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Cabinet Member and Minister of State for Financial Affairs Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, HE Mohammed Al Shaibani is the Director General of HH The Ruler’s Court, and Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman. Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to the UAE Ni Jian was also present.
