Alpha Destination Management plans to explore new markets this year by opening more overseas offices to attract more inbound tourists in Dubai.
This was announced by Alpha Destination chief executive officer Ghasan Aridi during the recently concluded Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai.
Last year, the UAE-based company joined hands with India’s Bird Group and opened three offices in India. The company also opened an overseas office in Korea in 2016.
Regarding the company’s participation at ATM, which concluded last Thursday, Aridi said it was very successful.
“It was a remarkable success as we hosted more than 300 industry specialists at our stand and ministers of tourism from Lebanon and Ghana. The top official of Saudi Arabia tourism also visited our stand,” Aridi said in a statement.
“We welcomed more than 300 representatives from big tour operators from across the world. We updated them about the tourism offerings in Dubai and also informed them on upcoming projects,” Aridi said.
The tourism minister of Lebanon Avedis Guidanian and Ghana minister Ms Catherine Afeko visited the Alpha Destination stand and praised the company’s efforts in promoting Dubai and the excellent services it offers.
Khalaf Al Habtoor, the famous businessman, wrote on his Instagram account that he visited Alpha stand and congratulated Aridi for his efforts and the success of his company as one of the biggest destination management companies in the UAE.
HRH Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President & Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) also visited the Alpha stand and lauded the company’s services.
He informed that Alpha made another success by attracting 3,600 tourists from South Korea to play golf in the most sophisticated golf clubs in the UAE.
