Floodwaters Swept Iraqi Soldier Remains After 37 Years

The remains of an Iraqi soldier who was killed during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s were found recently. His remains were swept away by strong floods coming from Iran into Iraqi territory. The remains were buried inside the Iraqi border in the Iraqi city of Miysan in southern Iraq. According to report published by Alarabiya Net.

According to the report, A local official in the province of Miysan said that the remains of the soldier Abdul Amir Haji Jabbar al-Jadri was identified, through a metal disk hung with a necklace in the neck bearing his name, and found his possessions of coins and a hand watch.

He added that “the body was with whole clothes, and with a military disk and a watch and a pen.
