Putting the health and safety of its customers and employees as top priority, Misr Italia Properties has implemented a set of strict precautionary measures, following the recommendations of the government, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization. This comes as part of the company’s commitment towards its family of employees and customers who are members of the bigger society, which the company seeks to support in combating the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
An internal crisis management committee was established to come up with strategic plans and risk assessments for the company amidst the current uncertainties. With the core objective of protecting employees, customers and partners while ensuring the business continuity, in accordance with its charter.
Misr Italia Properties started the practical application of these procedures through sterilization and disinfection of all the company’s buildings and facilities including house units, villas and public areas in its various projects (free of charge), in addition to company vehicles and sales offices. The sterilization process follows advanced technologies and standards, with approved materials and devices to ensure the safety of both the project’s residents and the employees.
The developed plan also included procedures for employees at the workplace and sales offices, as the company reinforced hygiene and exposure guidelines while providing masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers for daily use, especially for employees with customer-facing activities. In addition, the ITS team created an in-house online attendance solution to temporarily replace the fingerprint machines to reduce the spread of Corona virus infection and maintain the safety of the employees.
“At Misr Italia Properties, we are doing our part to help prevent the further spread of the virus, while also supporting the needs of our customers, employees and communities.
