Gold prices soar boosted by dollar decline

Dubai – (Masaader News)

Gold prices rose on Wednesday, supported by the dollar’s decline, after the dismissal of FBI Director James Komi.

Gold rose 0.1 percent to $ 1221.82 an ounce of $ 1213.81 an ounce on Tuesday, its lowest level since March 15.

US futures were up 0.5% at $ 1221.80 an ounce.

The US currency fell on Wednesday after Trump dismissed FBI Director from office.

Tensions on the Korean Peninsula have pushed gold prices higher, with fears growing that North Korea will launch a new ballistic missile test.
