Oil prices rose on Monday, and Brent crude futures rose by 0.7% to $ 60.87 a barrel, boosted by investors’ optimism that the cut production agreement would be extended, according to a report published by Mubasher.
Nymex crude futures rose by 0.2% to $ 54.07 a barrel.
Crude exploration platforms rose for the first time in four weeks by one platform to reach 737 platforms, following a 3-week decline, according to Mubasher.
