Hazzaa Al Mansoori, the First Emirati Astronaut, wore the Emirati traditional dress ‘Kandora’ on the board of the International Space Station.
Hazzaa, on his personal Twitter account, wrote: “Dressed for the occasion! Delighted for the opportunity to share part of our Emirati culture with the crew aboard the ISS.”
The UAE’s first astronaut donned traditional Emirati clothes on Tuesday to share some of his country’s culture with the eight other astronauts on board the station.
